2001
FOUNDED

Established at Athens International Airport (25-year agreement), launched simultaneously with the opening of "Eleftherios Venizelos" Airport, operating as an ACS Airport Area Agent.

2015
CPD CARGO

Rebranded as CPD CARGO, focusing on express courier services, vessel and aircraft charters.

2016
EETT CERTIFICATION

Certified by the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission (EETT) with a General Courier License, certification number 16-070.

2016
iCams — Tracking Platform

Development of the iCams platform for real-time tracking of courier and freight shipments. A key driver of CPD's digital growth and a product offered for sale or lease to third-party companies.

PHARMACEUTICAL DELIVERY

Partnerships launched with Athens' largest pharmaceutical wholesalers to supply island pharmacies within a maximum of 24 hours end-to-end, bringing medication access on par with mainland patients.

2018
DHL — International Shipments

Partnership signed with DHL EXPRESS for shipments to and from Greece worldwide, with direct online access for voucher generation and real-time tracking.

2019
VEHICLE FLEET

Long-term lease agreement signed with AVIS for temperature-controlled vans capable of transporting products down to -18°C.

ADAE APPROVAL

Following a review by a five-member committee, ADAE (Hellenic Authority for Communication Security & Privacy) unanimously approved CPD's temperature-controlled transport plan.

LEMNOS

Branch established on Lemnos. Partnership with ARGOS SA for the exclusive distribution of press, pharmaceuticals, Hi-Tech and general freight across the island.

SAMOS

Branch established on Samos. Partnership with ARGOS SA for the exclusive distribution of press, pharmaceuticals and general freight across the island.

FLEET TRACKERS

In collaboration with FLEET COMPLETE and COSMOTE, custom mobile tracking devices were developed to accompany shipments, enabling real-time location monitoring and in-package temperature logging.

FERRY NETWORK

Agreements signed with all Greek coastal shipping companies for bulk pharmaceutical transport in temperature-controlled areas aboard their vessels.

OB-STREEM – DIAKINISIS

Greece's two largest logistics companies (OB-STREEM SA & DIAKINISIS SA) entrust CPD with end-to-end B2C delivery of household goods (white/brown goods, IKEA, Skroutz) to the Cyclades and Lemnos.

DOWN TOWN — Athens Hub

New branch opened in Kolonos, Athens, featuring modern warehousing (including temperature-controlled storage) and 2,000 sq.m. of sorting facilities.

2024
CHIOS

Branch established on Chios. Partnership with ARGOS SA for the exclusive distribution of press, pharmaceuticals and general freight across the island.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 certification achieved — official recognition of CPD's quality management system.

MINISTERIAL DECREE 1348

Certified for compliance with Ministerial Decree 1348 governing the transport of medical devices.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Agreement signed with Ethniki Insurance: coverage up to €600,000 per vehicle and up to €2,000,000 for warehouse and sorting facilities.

FRAPORT HELLAS SA

Winner of the international tender by FRAPORT HELLAS (owners of 14 Greek airports) — a 3-year contract for Hi-Tech transport from Athens to all 14 airports and inter-airport transfers.

SUNLIGHT SA

SUNLIGHT SA (one of Europe's largest battery manufacturers) contracts CPD for heavy-item battery transport from Aspropyrgos, Attica, to destinations across Greece.

EOPYY — Award

Contracted for end-to-end temperature-controlled pharmaceutical delivery for EOPYY (National Health Services Organisation) from Athens (UNILOG SA) to island hospitals, pharmacies and private patients, as well as Western Attica and Salamina. Awarded for on-time delivery performance.

NOW / NEXT STEP
  • Capital base of €1,000,000 — zero external financing.
  • €3,000,000 in turnover for 2025 with €610,000 EBIT.
  • Nationwide network: 85 hubs, 180 vehicles (130 temperature-controlled), ready to handle complex high-quality shipments — primarily to the Greek islands.
  • Goal: establish 12 CPD companies across the Greek islands, each with 50% participation from CPD central and existing partners.
